When you drive on Cleveland Avenue in Saint Paul, you may notice a small, plain pizza restaurant, but there is much more here than meets the eye.  Mario’s Pizza has a wide variety of delicious toppings and specialty pizzas, like the four cheese and the Cacio E Pepe, which is a cheese pizza with white garlic sauce.  While that pizza is an example of their all-cheese specialties, I tried varsities with meat: sausage, pepperoni and supreme pizzas.  I believe this is the best pizza place in the Twin Cities.

When I first went there I wanted a quick meal, but the food was too good for a “quick meal.”  All the pizza is deep dish,  So come hungry.  When I was there, I had the honor of trying the supreme, garlic cheese bread donuts and my favorite Oreo Zeppole donuts.  The service is amazing and the food is even better.

Yes, this is the best pizza in the Twin Cities, but only for the people with thick wallets.  However, students get a thirty percent discount.  This is not your average pizza place after all.  It is kid-friendly, but also a good date night, or just a night out with THE BOYS.  Good food with good friends adds up to the best possible experience.
